Ragnhild “Ronnie” E. Mallon

Ragnhild “Ronnie” E. Mallon, 95, of Carlton, Minn., formerly of Wrenshall, Minn., passed away on Nov. 10, 2009, in Inter-Faith Care Center. She was born on March 17, 1914, in Oslo, Norway to Emil and Ragna (Hegbom) Ness.

Ronnie graduated from Duluth Central High School in 1935. She was a lifetime member of the Carlton VFW Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband Rudolph Mallon in 1976; her parents; 2 brothers; a sister and her grandson, Rodney. Ronnie is survived by her children, Patricia (Marvin) Stohlberg and Emilie (Rick) Dockter; grandchildren, Mary (Tim) Franklin, Scott Stohlberg, David (Michelle) Psyck, Mark (Rae) Stohlberg and Brian Stohlberg; 11 great-grandchildren; also many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 13, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the Handevidt Funeral Home, 900 Washington Ave, Cloquet. Visitation will be held from noon until the 2 p.m. service also in the funeral home. Interment in St. John’s Cemetery, Wrenshall.
