Kathryn McCullough and David Jorgensen, both of Portland, Ore., were united in marriage May 3, 2009, at The Loft in Astoria, Ore. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Aimee Genter.

Parents of the couple are Susan Charon of Cloquet, Minn., Michael McCullough of Chippewa Falls, Wis., and Mary and Earl Jorgensen of Shorewood, Wis.

The new bride is a 1997 graduate of Cloquet High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in criminology and criminal justice from Portland State University and is employed as a project manager at Substance, Inc. The new groom is a 1996 graduate of Shorewood High School in Shorewood, Wis. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in geography from the University of Wisconsin Madison and is employed as a musician.

The bride chose her friend Valerie Pietila of Portland as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Melaina Juntti of Boulder, Colo., friend of the bride, and Allison McCullough of Chippewa Falls, sister of the bride.

The groom chose his friend Joshua Vasby of Portland as his best man. Groomsmen were his friends Bryan Fairfield and Adam Schultz, both of Portland.

Following a honeymoon trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple resides in Portland.
