Jessica and Jacob Nichols of Sturgeon Lake, Minn., announce the birth of their daughter, Alaura Louella Nichols, born Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at Mercy Hospital and Health Care Center, Moose Lake, Minn. Alaura weighed 8 pounds, 2.5 ounces. Maternal grandparents are Burt Howard of Cass Lake, Minn., and Sheri Connor of Cass Lake. Paternal grandparents are Tom and Sue Nichols of West Plains, Mo.
