Cloquet Public Library changes lending and fine policy

The Library Board approved a new lending policy that will take effect July 1. Adult and juvenile materials will be charged 25 cents per day with a maximum fine limit for children’s materials of $1 per item and maximum fine limit for adult materials of $5 per item.

Videos will be charged $2 per day to a maximum fine of $10 per item. All items may be renewed once unless they are on hold for another patron. Patrons will be stopped at check out if they owe $10 or more in fines. The Library Board encourages patrons to check their book receipts for correct due dates.

Patrons may also check their accounts online and renew items through the library Web site: www.cloquet.lib.mn.us.
