HIBBING — Last season when an opponent made a run at Grand Rapids, the Thunderhawks folded more often than not.

Not anymore.

A veteran Grand Rapids team held off a second-half rally by Cloquet to win the Section 7AAA high school boys basketball championship 65-51 Tuesday night at Hibbing Memorial Arena.
