A non-competitive fun run called Save Our Hooterz will take place May 3 at Cloquet High School to raise funds for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Register on race day starting at 8 a.m for $20 per person. The 5K walk/run starts at 9 a.m. Registration fees help women and men around the country and around the world cope with the life-altering disease.

Local area women Jessica Ochis, Amber Berg, Becky Massessa and Pam Zezulka are participating in the Breast Cancer three-day 60-mile walk for women and men who want to make a difference in the fight to end breast cancer. They will walk 20 miles each day from Aug. 8-10. They have made a commitment to meet a team fund raising goal of $10,000 and are spending months training for the event. Those participating in the Save Our Hooterz race will help them reach this goal.
