Local author meet-and-greet event set at library Saturday

Enjoy coffee and conversation with at least six local authors at the Cloquet Public Library between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7. Authors who have promised to attend include the following:

• Jim Northrup, author of various books, including his most recent "Anishinaabe Syndicated: A View from the Rez"

• Marlene Wisuri, who co-authored "To Be Free: Understanding and Eliminating Racism" and "Scott House Souvenirs"

• Daniel Bradford, author of "Akabish's First Christmas"

• Larry Weber, nature author of "Webwood: Seasons of Life in the North Woods" and "Fascinating Fungi of the North Woods"

• Clara Tefft, author of "Thine is the Glory"

• Katie Mettner, author of "Sugar's Dance"
