Wild-N-Rank Rodeo coming to Wrenshall
Just when you thought the Fourth of July weekend couldn’t get any better — it did!
The Thell family of JT Ranch and Arena of Wrenshall will be premiering the Wild-N-Rank Rodeo on July 4-5, with performances at 6 p.m. nightly. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. both nights and, immediately following the rodeo, “Sweet Freedom” will kick start an evening of music and dancing to live band music. Food vendors will be available on the grounds the entire rodeo.
Rodeo events will include bareback riding, breakaway roping, calf roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, team roping, barrel racing, 40-plus calf roping and bull riding. The kids will especially love the “mutton busting” event, similar to bull riding or bronc riding, in which children ride or race sheep.
A special added attraction at the Friday night Fourth of July rodeo event will be a fireworks display for all in attendance.
For more information, check out the rodeo’s Facebook page at Wild-N-Rank Rodeo.
The ranch is located at 2162 Thell Road just behind the water tower in Wrenshall, off Alcohol Road and between County Roads 3 and 1.
Tickets will be available at the gate.
