Volunteer is concerned about Inter-Faith
To the Editor:
I have been a volunteer for over 35 years at Carlton Nursing Home/Inter-Faith Care Center. In 2008 I received the Adult Volunteer of the Year Award from The Care Providers of Minnesota.
It disturbs me to see how Inter-Faith Care Center has changed over the last two years. I feel the atmosphere is no longer as warm and friendly as it was; there seems to be tension in the air. The staff appears to be overworked and short-handed. There are empty beds when in the past there was a waiting list. It upsets me to see this.
Inter-Faith Care Center has been an important part of the community. Isn’t anyone else concerned?
