Two men in custody after Scanlon shooting
Two men are in custody after the shooting of another man this morning in Scanlon.
Cloquet police arrived at the River Inn Bar and Grill about 3:08 a.m. after a report that a male had been shot. Officers found the victim, 24-year-old Jeremiah Tyler Adamscheck, conscious after suffering a gunshot wound to the pelvic area. Adamscheck was sent to St. Mary's Medical Center and was set to undergo surgery, according to a news release.
Witnesses provided police with a description of the suspect vehicle, which allowed officers to locate and take the two men into custody. The men, ages 21 and 23, are being held at the Carlton County Law Enforcement Center with charges pending.
Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor in the shooting.
