TWIN LAKES TOWNSHIP NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Board of Twin Lakes Township, Carlton County, Minnesota, (the "Board") has been authorized by the electors of the township at the recessed annual meeting of September 1, 2004 pursuant to Minn. Stat. 164.06, subd. 1 to vacate a roadway within Twin Lakes Township, more particularly described as follows:
New Legal Description of Proposed Street Vacation:
All that part of the 50 foot-wide Street according to the recorded plat of SECOND ADDITION TO OLSONVILLE, located in Section 10, Township 48, Range 17, Carlton County, Minnesota, described as follows:
Beginning at the southeasterly corner of Lot 9, Block 1, of said plat; thence southwesterly, along the southerly lines of Lot 8, 9, and Outlot A, of said Block 1, a distance of 310.52 feet to a line 33.0 feet north of and parallel with the south line of the 33.0 foot-wide Street as shown on said plat; thence easterly, along last described parallel line, a distance of 86.72 feet to the southerly line of said 50 foot-wide Street as shown on said plat; thence northeasterly, along last described southerly line, a distance of 207.70 feet to the west line of Lot 10, of said Block 1; thence northerly, along said west line of Lot 10 a distance of 59.34 feet to the point of beginning.
The Town Board has scheduled a public hearing to take place on May 21, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. at the Carlton Fire Hall, 100 4th St. N., Carlton, MN, to discuss and possibly take action on the vacation. All persons interested in the proceedings or desiring to be heard on this matter are welcome to attend and will be permitted to participate and be heard at this public hearing.
