Roberta Anne 'Petey' (Painter) Shull
Roberta Anne "Petey" (Painter) Shull, 75, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, in Arcadia, Fla., where she resided for several years. She was born Aug. 1, 1938, to Marvin "Pete" and Cleo Painter. She lived most of her life in Cloquet, Minn., where she graduated from high school. On July 15, 1964, she was united in marriage to Howard "Slim" Shull Jr. For many years she was a Tupperware dealer and was the top salesperson in the area for several years in a row. Many will remember her as "The Tupperware Lady." Roberta was a member of the American Legion Post 262 and Moose Lodge 1274, both of Cloquet.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Terry; and two granddaughters, Jerral and Ellie Miller.
Roberta is survived by her husband of 49 years, Howard "Slim"; four sons, Bryan Norton, Dean (Tina) Norton, Walter "Bud" Norton and Howard (Kathleen) Shull III; one daughter, Melodee Norton-Miller; grandchildren, Kasia Mix, Japeth Norton, Megan and Wade Shull; great-grandchildren, Janessa and Brady Mix; sisters, Patricia (Doug) Pertler and Sandra (Tony) Tulino; brother, Dennis Painter; sisters-in-law, Susan (David) Armstrong, Jo Sather, Beverly (Jim) Pierce, LaVonne England and Linda Schmidt; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service may be held in the spring.
