Mitzi Cadwell, 83, of Cloquet, Minn., died Monday, Jan. 6, 2014. She was born on Jan. 21, 1930, to James and Margaret Olson in Cloquet. She was united in marriage to Myles Cadwell on June 25, 1955.
She was employed by Northwest Paper, Cloquet Cooperative Society, and Members Cooperative Credit Union. Mitzi was a member, and past Post president of the VFW Auxiliary, member of the Airforce Sergeants Auxiliary, and former member of Sweet Adelines.
Mitzi was a very considerate and caring person. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Myles; and brother, James R. Olson Jr..
Mitzi is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Vickie) Cadwell of Duluth, Minn., and Dwight (Diane) Cadwell of Cloquet; daughter, Margaret (John) Couillard of Cloquet; brother, Jack (LuAnn) Olson of Red Wing, Minn.; grandchildren, Chelsea, Courtnea, Joshua, Trevor, Carley Cadwell, Ashlea (Brian) Fergus, Timothy, and Skyler (Tiffany) and Aaron Couillard; and great-granddaughter, Sophia Rose Couillard.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Sunnyside Health Care Center who cared for her since 2008.
Visitation was held Saturday, Jan. 11, from 1 p.m. until the p.m. memorial service in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Cloquet. Inurnment was in Maple Grove Cemetery.
