Leo Hartley Good

Leo Hartley Good, 83, of Cloquet, Minn., passed away Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at Inter-Faith Care Center in Carlton, Minn. He was born Sept. 16, 1930, in Rice Lake, Wis., to Earl and Sophie (Pederson) Good. After graduating from Cameron High School in 1948 he attended the Superior State College. Leo graduated in 1952 with a Bachelor of Science degree in history. He served in the U.S. Army from 1952-1954. Leo worked for the Mesabi Railroad office in Duluth for 10 years prior to working for the Peabody Coal Company in Madison, Wis., and then in St. Louis, Mo. In 1992, after retirement, he moved to Cloquet.

Leo was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Wesley and Harold Good; and a sister, Dorothy Good.

He is survived by his sister, Marjorie Linde, and several nieces and nephews including Diane (David) Mueller, John Linde and Robert Linde.

An inurnment service will be held at a later date at the Sumner Cemetery near Rice Lake, Wis.
