Kids are invited to bring used sporting goods to mini Olympics Saturday
Cloquet Minnesota 122 Avenue C 55720

The “Kick it into Gear” Destination ImagiNation team will host a miniature Olympics from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at Pinehurst Park. Weather permitting, events will consist of speed skating, hockey, sled racing, and ski jumping for kids in grades K-6. The DI team is asking community members to donate any gently-used sports equipment, which they are collecting for local kids who cannot afford them but still want to play sports. Clear out your basement of all those old ice skates, balls, sticks, mitts, cleats and more. Come “go for the gold” in your community this Saturday. Any adults who would like to volunteer Saturday, call DI teacher Deb Peterson at 218-591-4600.
