Emmy award-winning Zinghoppers to perform at Cloquet Public Library
The Arrowhead Library System will present the Emmy award-winning Zinghoppers band, a free program for all ages at noon Thursday, July 31, at the Cloquet Public Library.
Put your paws up for the award-winning, educational and entertaining show developed just for libraries celebrating the 2014 Summer Reading Program theme, “Paws to Read!” Utilizing state-of-the-art sound and projection, the Zinghoppers band invites attendees on a musical concert journey to the zoo where they'll experience lots of animals up close and personal. Along the way, there will also be a celebration of books and reading. Fun, fresh and fully interactive, this show encourages audience participation. Patrons will be dancing, singing and “zinghopping” along!
This show will feature state-of-the-art video projections on screen of the entire PBS TV show cast: Funky Possum, Olo Da Donkey, Coconuts the Kangaroo, J-Star and DJ Kitty — along with the Zinghoppy Dancers. Created especially for preschool and elementary age children, the program’s goal is to engage, educate, and entertain.
