The beloved American film, "It's a Wonderful Life," is transformed into a new stage musical in "Miracle in Bedford Falls," created by Mark Cabaniss and Lowell Alexander. The County Seat Theater Company of Cloquet will present this wonderful new musical for the holidays. "Miracle in Bedford Falls" retains all the elements that have made this story unforgettable, while adding memorable, toe-tapping music.
Good guy George Bailey, portrayed by Keith Chapin, dreams of traveling the world but instead stays home in Bedford Falls to run his family's small-time building and loan company. With support from his loving wife, Mary (Elizabeth Halaas), George carries on, until Uncle Billy (Mike Jurek) misplaces $8,000 and the bank's competitor Mr. Potter (Jesse Davis) swoops in to bring George down. With help from his guardian angel Clara (Jeanine Goeres), who is trying to earn her wings, George is shown how many lives he's touched and how fortunate he truly is in life.
Fun for the entire family, this perennial favorite leaves you singing with joy and cozy with the warm glow of the holiday spirit.
