Anderson, Jimenez wed
Kelsey Anderson, formerly of Esko, Minn., and John Jimenez of Norwalk, Calif., were united in marriage on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, aboard the historic Queen Mary ship in Long Beach, Calif.
Parents of the couple are Kristine (Patrick) Dwyer of Duluth, Minn., and Kevin Anderson of Avondale, Ariz., formerly of Esko, and Gloria and Paul Mahoney of Norwalk.
Grandparents are Winnie and Dick Anderson of Esko, and Louise Colalillo and Glenn Maxham of Duluth.
The bride chose Kyra Anderson as Maid of Honor. The groom chose Charles Jimenez as Best Man.
The bride, a 2006 graduate of Esko High School, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in theatre arts and communication studies and is pursuing a master’s degree in elementary education/history at Hope International University in Fullerton, Calif. She is a kindergarten teacher for Kirkwood Christian Elementary School in Downey, Calif.
The groom graduated from Biola University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies and Biblical theology and is also pursuing a master’s degree in elementary education. He is the area director of the ASES program at Los Alisos Middle School in Norwalk.
The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in the Mayan Riviera of Mexico and now reside in Lakewood, Calif.
