Head to Wright for Wrong Days

The best weekend of the summer to hold an event is coming up. According to Jennie Hanson, long-time volunteer and organizer of Wrong Days in Wright, they have never had to cancel due to rain in the 53 years of the annual event.

"The people like it and the businesses support it," Hanson said. "It's like a big high school reunion, but it's a community reunion."

The money for the events goes to the individual group sponsoring each event.

Hanson said the event almost ended at the 50-year mark because no one was interested in organizing it. Luckily, Linda Kalli stepped up and agreed to keep the weekend going.
